DILI -7th April 2011, A Medal Parade was held in ARBIRU Beach Resort, Dili to honour 90 Malaysian Police who have served in the Malaysian United Nations Police (UNPOL) in Timor Leste. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary General, Mr.Finn Reske Nielsen. Among those present was Mr. Luis Carrilho, UN Police Commissioner, Mr.Afonso De Jesus, Deputy Commander General of PNTL and Mr. Azri Mat Yacob, Charge D'Affaires of Malaysian Embassy, with several high ranking UN Officials. The ninety Malaysian UN Police was honoured with the UN medal as an appreciation for their services in Timor Leste.
