On 31 January 2017, H.E..Amb. Chitra Devi Ramiah attended the security briefing presented by the Commander of Operations, Chief Superintendent of Police Mr. Henrique Da Costa and the General Commander, Commissioner Julio Hornay of the National Police of Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste (PNTL). The briefing was on the security measures that will be implemented during the forthcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections scheduled for 20 March and July 2017 respectively. The briefing was held for the members of the diplomatic corps, international organizations and government agencies.
