10 June 2022 – The Embassy of Malaysia joined other diplomatic missions resident in Timor-Leste in the 2022 Timor-Leste and Development Partners Meeting (TLDPM) with the theme: “Together We Work to Recover the Economy Towards A Resilient Society”. The Government of Timor-Leste and its Development Partners acknowledged significant achievements made by both sides over the past 20 years since Timor-Leste achieved its independence in 2002. The meeting also discussed strategies to address future challenges to effectively engage in the national development efforts.
