A delegation of the Malaysian Armed Forces (Angkatan Tentera Malaysia), headed Y.Bhg. Leftenant General Datuk Dr. Abdul Razak Md. Yusof, Director-General Armed Force Health Service visited Dili on 19 June 2014 at the invitation of the Timorese Government. The visit was meant to explore possible cooperation between Malaysia and Timor Leste in the area of military health cooperation. The Malaysian Ambassador to Timor Leste, H.E. Amb. Tajul Aman Mohammad hosted a dinner for the delegation to brief about the local situation and the best ways for Malaysians to approach the Timorese market for mutual benefits of both countries.
