A delegation from UMS, headed by Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd. Harun bin Abdullah, Vice Chancellor of UMS visited Dili on 25-27 February 2014. The purpose of the visit was to pay a courtesy call on the Timorese Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão before honoring him with an honorary doctorate. The UMS delegation also had discussions with several other relevant Ministers and government officials as well as National University of Timor Leste.
