Ambassador Mahinder Singh presented his credentials to His Excellency Elias Jaua, Vice-President of The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on 18 May 2012.
Ambassador Mahinder took this opportunity to convey the greetings and best wishes from His Majesty The Yang di-Pertuan Agong. The Vice-President congratulated Ambassador Mahinder on his appointment as the new Ambassador of Malaysia and stated that the Government of Venezuela would work together in enhancing bilateral relations with Malaysia.
On 21 May 2012, Ambassador Mahinder layed a wreath at the Simon Bolivar Square next to the People´s Power Ministry of External Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
