Ambassador Mahinder Singh presented Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Dame Pearlette Louisy, Governor-General of Saint Lucia on 30 January 2014. As the new High Commissioner of Malaysia, Ambassador Mahinder took the opportunity to make courtesy calls on the Honourable Philip J. Pierre, Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport and Mr Hubert Emmanuel, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, International Trade and Civil Aviation of Saint Lucia. Both Malaysia and Saint Lucia expressed interest to look at opportunities to enhance mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.
