Ambassador Muzafar Shah bin Mustafa, received on 31 October 2016 Ms. Minerva Figueroa, a master student from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), in International Economy for an interview as part of her data collection for a research for her thesis entitled "Economic Growth and its Inclusion in International Trade: Case of Malaysia". Ms. Figueroa explained that she embarked on this research after learning about Malaysia's impressive success in its economic development which should be emulated by many South American countries. Ambassador briefed her on the journey Malaysia's economic development had gone through to achieve up sustainable development to the level it is now and the vision to be a fully developed nation by 2020. Ms. Figueroa was accompanied by Mr. Diego Aguirre, a former student who was also keen on finding out more details on Malaysia's experiences.
