His Excellency Ambassador Mahinder Singh hosted a breaking of fast on Sunday, 5 August 2012 (17 Ramadan 1433) with fellow Malaysians in Caracas and participated by Her Excellency Prianti Gagarin and staff from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia. His Excellency Samuel Pawironadi, Ambassador of the Republic of Suriname also attended to experience the breaking of fast with friends from Southeast Asia.
Dinner was served after the breaking of fast and Maghrib prayers. The event was an opportunity for the staff to interact and foster closer relations with other members of the diplomatic corp. The food was prepared by Perwakilan ladies in Caracas.
