Perwakilan Caracas made a visit to the Mother Theresa Home in Catia La Mar, Vargas State on 26 October 2014. Since a few of the nuns originate from India, Perwakilan Caracas prepared chappatis, chicken curry, vegetables and some cookies on the occasion of Deepavali. At the same time, Perwakilan Caracas contributed some items for the handicapped / severely disabled children sheltered at this home. The items include cereals, infant powdered milk, yogurt and juices for the children. Perwakilan Caracas has made this visit a yearly affair and the north Indian food especially prepared for the nuns is in appreciation for their efforts in running this centre.
