CEREMONY OF THE PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENT SERVICE 2007, TO LRS, EMBASSY OF MALAYSIA, CARACAS, VENEZUELA, 18 JANUARY 2008

For the first time, the Embassy in Caracas decided to present a Certificate of Excellent Service and cash money amounting to Bs 500 (about RM 800), as a token of appreciation and recognition, to an LRS based on his/her excellent performance, commitment and contributions to the Embassy. The selection was done by a Committee chaired by Ambassador Ramlan with two other HBS, the Head of Chancery and the Third Secretary.

To this effect, the Committee decided to nominate Mrs. Ines Ganteaume, Interpreter/Translator/Social Secretary to the Ambassador, as the recipient of the Certificate and the Cash Money, for the Year 2007.

Prior to the Ceremony, Ambassador Ramlan took the opportunity to deliver a New Year 2008 Address to all Home-based Staff (HBS) as well as Locally-recruited Staff (LRS) on 18 January 2008.  Apart from wishing them a Happy New Year, Ambassador Ramlan, inter-alia, reminded all HBS and LRS to continue working hard, to continue excelling in their daily work and to continue their commitments to the Government of Malaysia in general and to the Embassy in particular.

Por primera vez la Embajada de Malasia en Caracas decidió presentar un Certificado a la Excelencia en el Servicio y efectivo otorgando Bs. F 500 (aproximadamente RM800), como muestra de apreciación y reconocimiento al personal local basándose en la excelente ejecución de labores, compromiso y contribuciones a la Embajada. La selección fue hecha por el Comité encabezado por el Embajador Ramlan con dos otros funcionarios diplomáticos, el Segundo Secretario y e Tercer Secretario.

A este efecto, el Comité decidió proponer a la Sra. Inés Ganteaume, Interprete/Traductora/Secretaria Social del Embajador, como la primera acreditada del Certificado y efectivo para el año 2007.

Antes de la Ceremonia, El Embajador Ramlan tomó la oportunidad para pronunciar su Discurso de Año Nuevo 2008 a todo el personal de la Embajada. Además de desearles un Feliz Año Nuevo, el Embajador Ramlan, entre otras cosas, recordó a todos los funcionarios diplomáticos y personal local continuar trabajando duro en la búsqueda de la mejora continua en el trabajo diario y de continuar con su compromiso con el Gobierno de Malasia en general y con la Embajada en particular.
