EMBASSY OF MALAYSIA, CARACAS, ORGANIZED A RECEPTION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BIRTHDAY OF SPB YANG DI-PERTUAN AGONG, ON FRIDAY, 8 AUGUST 2008
The Embassy of Malaysia, Caracas, organizad a Reception in conjunction with the Birthday of SPB Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on Friday, 8 August 2008 at 1600 hours, held at the Multipurpose Room of the Embassy. The Reception, which had been scheduled for June, had however to be rescheduled for August due to unforseen circumstances.
In view of a very small number of Malaysian community in Venezuela, the Reception was attended by only those Malaysian Home-Based Staff working at the Embassy and their family members, as well as two Malaysian Officers working at Petronas Office, Caracas.
All Locally-Recruited Staff of the Embassy were also invited to join these Malaysians at the Reception.
The Reception began by Malaysian National Anthem - Negara Ku - sung by all presents including the Locally-Recruted Staff, followed by cake cutting headed by His Excellency Ambassador Ramlan Kimin.
All food served during the Reception was prepared by Puan Rozie Johari, wife of Encik Mohd. Yusof Ahmad, Third Secretary of the Embassy.
The Reception ended at about 1730 hours.
EMBAJADA DE MALASIA, CARACAS, ORGANIZÓ UNA RECEPCIÓN EN CONJUNCCION DEL CUMPLEAÑOS DE SU ALTEZA EL YANG DI-PERTUAN AGONG (EL REY), EL VIERNES. 18 DE AGOSTO DE 2008
La Embajada de Malasia, Caracas, organizó una recepción en conjunción con el cumpleaños de Su Alteza el Yang Di-pertuan Agong (El Rey), el viernes 8 de agosto de 2008 a las 1600 horas, celebrada en el Salón de Multiusos de la Embajada. La recepción, que estaba pautada para junio, fue reprogramada para el mes de agosto debido a circunstancias imprevistas.
En vista que la comunidad de Malasia en Venezuela es minoritaria, asistieron a la recepción sólo los Diplomáticos de la Embajada y sus respectivas familias, así como dos oficiales de Malasia que laboran en las oficinas de Petronas en Caracas.
Todo personal local de la Embajada también fue invitado a participar con los malasios.
La recepción comenzó con el Himno Nacional de Malasia - Negara Ku - cantado por todos presentes inclusive el personal local, seguido de una torta encabezado por el Excelentísimo Señor Embajador Ramlan Kimin.
Toda la comida de la recepción fue preparada por la Sra. Rozie Johari, esposa del Sr. Mohd. Yusof Ahmad, Tercer Secretario de la Embajada.
La recepción culminó aproximadamente a las 17.30 horas.
