During Ambassador Mahinder´s official visit to the state of Zulia, he met the Maracaibo Chamber of Commerce and had the opportunity to meet up with the small Malaysian community and their families who have been residing there for more than a decade. While in Maracaibo, Amb Mahinder and Madam Jagdeep visited the Aldea Infantiles SOS (Save Our Souls) village about an hours’s drive from Maracaibo. It is an orphanage for 114 young children. Some gifts and Malaysian cookies were donated to the centre.
