His Excellency Ambassador Mahinder continue to undertake Familiarization Visits to selected States in Venezuela throughout the year 2012. The states that have been earmarked were the western part of Venezuela namely Falcon, Lara and Zulia scheduled for 15-19 April 2012. These Familiarization Visits were coordinated by Venezuela - Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (CAVENMA) and the respective Governors' Offices of the States. Courtesy Calls on the respective Governors, Business dialogues, field trips and city tours are among the programmes that were arranged for the said Familiarization Visits.
It should be noted that for the year 2011, Ambassador Mahinder made a familiarization visits to Puerto la Cruz on 30 October, Anzoategui, 31 October 2011, the State of Sucre on 1 November 2011.
