GET-TOGETHER SESSION WITH MTCP ALUMNI IN VENEZUELA, 2 NOVEMBER 2009
The Embassy of Malaysia in Caracas, Venezuela, organized on 2 November 2009 a Get-Together Session with some ex-participants of the Malaysian Technical Coorperation Programme (MTCP) and two officials each from the Ministry of External Relations and Ministry of Planning and Development of Venezuela, in-charge of MTCP.
The Get-Together Session was a useful occasion in gathering the MTCP Alumni in Venezuela and providing an opportunity for them not only to meet and to share their respective experiences and knowledge among themselves, but also to meet again the Ambassador and his officials and staff at the Embassy.
During the Session, Ambassador Ramlan Kimin had a discussion and exchange of views with the ex-participants and the two officials related to the experiences gained by them while participating in various trainings and short courses under the MTCP in Malaysia, as well as ways to encourage more participation from Venezuela in the future.
Noting that many of those who had participated in various trainings and courses under the MTCP are now leaders at their respective workplace, Ambassador Ramlan inter-alia reiterated his hope that they could make full use of their experiences and knowledge gained from Malaysia for the benefits of their respective organizations. Ambassador further expressed hope that they would play an active role in not only promoting better understanding about Malaysia among the Venezuelans but also in promoting how Malaysia’s current political stability, rapid economic development and social well-being could be a good example for Venezuela. The Ambassador also reiterated that the MTCP had become another bridge to further enhance the existing close bilateral relations between the two countries.
At the end of the Session, the Ambassador hosted a high-tea whereby the MTCP Alumni and the two officials were served with Malaysian dishes, and presented a Malaysian handicraft as memento to each of them.
REUNIÓN CON LOS ALUMNOS QUE PARTICIPARON EN LOS PROGRAMAS DE COOPERACIÓN TÉCNICA DE MALASIA EN VENEZUELA, 2 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 2009
La Embajada de Malasia en Caracas, Venezuela, organizó el 2 de noviembre de 2009 una Reunión con algunos participantes del Programa de Cooperación Técnico de Malasia (MTCP, por sus siglas en inglés) y dos funcionarios venezolanos, uno del Ministerio del Poder Popular para Relaciones Exteriores y el otro del Ministerio del Poder Popular para Planificación y Desarrollo de Venezuela, encargados de los programas del MTCP.
La Reunión fue una ocasión muy propicia para que los alumnos del MTCP en Venezuela tuvieran la oportunidad no sólo de conocerse pero para intercambiar sus respectivas experiencias y conocimientos, además de conocer nuevamente al Embajador y funcionarios diplomáticos y empleados de la Embajada.
Durante la Reunión, el Embajador Ramlan conversó con los antiguos participantes y los funcionarios, relatando las experiencias obtenidas por los ellos en los cursos cortos y de formación dentro del marco de MTCP en Malasia, como también exhortó una mayor participación de Venezuela en el futuro.
