Diplomatic Association (Asociacion de Diplomaticos - ADD) in Caracas held the Grand Diplomatic Bazaar on 3 June 2012 for the purpose of raising funds to support a number of Venezuelan charity organizations.
The Ladies Association of the Embassy of Malaysia took part to promote Malaysian food and sold souvenir items from Malaysia. The food included spring rolls, curry puffs, rice noodles and Malaysian cookies. The Malaysian booth also arranged for children to participate in the ‘spin colour’ art painting coordinated by a Malaysian lady residing in Caracas.
The Grand Diplomatic Bazaar is an annual event of the Diplomatic Association participated by embassies in Caracas to showcase the culture, food and products from their respective countries.
