Caracas, 22 October 2024 – In collaboration with the National Institute of Socialist Education and Training (INCES), the Embassy of Malaysia successfully hosted a food presentation and certificate ceremony to mark the culmination of the "Kitchen of Malaysia" program. This cultural initiative provided 24 participants with hands-on experience in preparing traditional Malaysian dishes, celebrating the richness of Malaysian cuisine and its role in fostering cross-cultural understanding.

Held from 23 September to 7 October 2024, the program comprised five culinary training sessions where participants learned to create iconic Malaysian delicacies such as Cucur Udang, Nasi Lemak, Kuih Ketayap, and Karipap. The event on 22 October served as the finale, showcasing the participants' culinary skills and their newfound appreciation for Malaysia's vibrant food heritage.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Wuikelman Angel Paredes, President of INCES, alongside the ambassadors of Indonesia, Vietnam, and Egypt, as well as the Honorary Consul of Thailand. Their support underscored the diplomatic community’s shared commitment to promoting cultural exchange through culinary arts.

The "Kitchen of Malaysia" program reflects the Embassy's dedication to strengthening people-to-people connections and fostering goodwill between Malaysia and Venezuela.
