As Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Caracas, Ambassador Mahinder hosted a luncheon meeting in honour of His Excellency David Velázquez Caraballo, Vice-Minister for Asia, Middle East and Oceania in the Foreign Ministry. The luncheon meeting attended by the other ASEAN Ambassadors was held on 25 April 2013 at the Malaysian residence. It provided a good opportunity to raise with the Vice-Minister a number of proposed ASEAN activities in Caracas.
