The Embassy of Malaysia together with PERWAKILAN organized a Charity Bazaar on 17 May 2014 at the multipurpose hall of the chancery in Caracas. Malaysian foodstuffs, batik, jewellery, clothes and handicraft were some of the items sold at the bazaar to promote Malaysia’s rich cultural traditions in Venezuela. Apart from the purpose of charity, this event was also aimed to further promote closer understanding with the people of Venezuela. Members of the Diplomatic Corp and the general public attended the event to support this initiative.
