His Excellency Ambassador Mahinder Singh and wife, Mrs Jagdeep Kaur hosted Aidilfitri Open House at the Residence of Ambassador of Malaysia in Caracas on 3 September 2011.
Among the guests attended were Diplomats, Foreign Ministry officials as well as staff of the Embassy. They were treated to tasty Malaysian dishes such as ketupat, rendang, nasi briyani, roti canai, fried noodles and an assortment of Hari Raya cookies.
Muslims in Caracas celebrated Eid on 30 August 2011, they prayed at the Abdul Aziz Mosque which is located at the heart of Caracas and it is the largest mosque in Latin America.
