On Tuesday 18 April 2013, Ambassador Mahinder Singh was interviewed in a morning radio show at Hot 94.1 FM station of Caracas, part of the FM Center group. Radio host Nathaly Ortiz helped to convey the information on air regarding the Malaysian Food Festival held in Venezuela, from 19 - 22 June 2013 at the Eurobuilding Hotel & Suites Caracas.
Apart from an overview on Malaysia, the information aired on the radio included details of the main dishes and ingredients used in the preparation of Malaysian food dishes. Listeners were also informed of a cooking demonstration on 20 June 2013 to be hosted by two chefs from Malaysia.
