The First Charitable Gastronomic Fair 2016 on 13 March 2015, Caracas, Venezuela

The First Charitable Gastronomic Fair 2016 was held at the Plaza Alfredo Sadel in Las Mercedes, Caracas on 13 March 2016. The one-day event took place from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm and participated by several other countries and organisations. The Embassy of Malaysia was involved in selling Malaysian food such as Roti Canai and fried noodles. Meanwhile, promotional materials such as posters and pamphlets on Malaysia were distributed to the visitors, in the effort to promote Malaysia as one of the famous tourist destinations. The proceeds from the participation at this fair will be channelled to different charity organisations in Venezuela through the Diplomatic Ladies Association (ADD)
