H.E. AMBASSADOR RAMLAN KIMIN AND PRESIDENT HUGO CHAVEZ OF
His Excellency Ambassador Ramlan Kimin was invited by the Presidential Palace of Miraflores, to witness the Signing Ceremony of an Agreement Between PETRONAS, Malaysia and PDVSA, Venezuela, on Gas Exploration in Venezuela, together with President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, at the Presidential Palace of Miraflores, Caracas, on Friday, 19 September 2008, at 1400 hours.
Mr. Mohd. Shariff, the Regional Manager of PETRONAS in Caracas, signed the Agreement on behalf of PETRONAS, Malaysia, whilst H.E. Rafael Ramirez, Minister of Petroleum and Energy of Venezuela, signed on behalf of PDVSA, Venezuela.
Since Ambassador Ramlan Kimin was given less than 24 hour notice to attend the Ceremony, his Visit to the State of Carabobo, to deliver a Talk and to make a Presentation at the Universidad de Carabobo in Valencia, which had been arranged since February this year and had been scheduled for the same day, 19 September 2008, had to be postponed again for the third time.
Also invited by the Presidential Palace of Miraflores for the Ceremony were Ambassadors from Algeria, Japan, Italy, Qatar and Portugal, to also witness similar Signing Ceremony of the Agreements between their respective oil and gas company and Minister Rafael Ramirez, together with President Hugo Chavez.
EL EXCMO. SR. EMBAJADOR RAMLAN KIMIN Y EL PRESIDENTE HUGO CHÁVEZ DE VENEZUELA FUERON TESTIGOS DE LA CEREMONIA DE FIRMA DEL ACUERDO ENTRE PETRONAS, MALASIA Y PDVSA, VENEZUELA EN LA EXPLORACIÓN DE GAS, EN EL PALACIO PRESIDENCIAL DE MIRAFLORES, 19 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2008
El Excelentísimo Señor Embajador Ramlan Kimin fue invitado por el Palacio Presidencial de Miraflores, para presenciar la ceremonia de la firma de un Acuerdo entre PETRONAS, Malasia y PDVSA, Venezuela, en la exploración de gas en Venezuela, junto con el presidente Hugo Chávez de Venezuela, en el Palacio Presidencial de Miraflores, en Caracas, el viernes, 19 de septiembre de 2008 a las 1400 horas.
El Sr. Mohd. Shariff, Gerente Regional de PETRONAS en Caracas, firmó el Acuerdo en nombre de PETRONAS, Malasia, mientras que el Excmo. Rafael Ramírez, Ministro del Poder Popular para Energía y Petróleo de Venezuela, firmó en nombre de PDVSA, Venezuela.
En vista que Embajador Ramlan Kimin fue notificado con menos de 24 horas para asistir a la ceremonia, su visita al Estado Carabobo, para dar una charla y hacer una presentación en la Universidad de Carabobo en Valencia, que había sido organizado desde febrero de este año y estaba previsto para el mismo día, el 19 de septiembre de 2008, se tuvo que aplazar de nuevo por tercera vez.
El Palacio Presidencial de Miraflores también invitó para la ceremonia los Embajadores de Argelia, Japón, Italia, Qatar y Portugal, para ser testigos también de una similar ceremonia de firma de los acuerdos entre sus respectivas empresas de petróleo y gas y el Ministro Rafael Ramírez, junto con el Presidente Hugo Chávez.
