In conjuction with Deepavali celebration, Perwakilan Caracas made a visit to the Mother Theresa Home in Catia La Mar, Vargas State on 8 November 2015. Since a few of the nuns originate from India, Perwakilan Caracas prepared some Indian food such as chappatis, chicken curry, vegetables as well as cakes as an appreciation for their tireless efforts in running this centre. Perwakilan Caracas has made this visit an annual affair in conducting such charity programmes.
