On the 26 October 2012, the Malaysia - China (Guangdong) Chamber of Investment Promotion (MGCIP) organised a Bilateral Enterprise Meeting & Investment Forum at the City of Zhuhai. The event was attended by about 100 participants from the various Malaysian and Chinese companies. The guest of honour was the Hon. Minister of Housing & Local Government of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Chor Chee Heung. The Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Francisco Munis also attended and delivered his speech during the forum, believed that the event is an opportunity and also a platform to promote potential exchanges between Malaysia and China especially in Guangdong. He further urged for both Malaysian and Chinese business people including those from Guangdong to tap on the creative and innovative resources of Malaysia and China through economic and social collaborations and ventures.
