Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming hosted a reception on 25th September 2014 in conjunction with the 57th National Day of Malaysia at Intercontinental Hotel, Kunming. Guests comprising of high-ranking government officials, diplomatic -community, Malaysian and friends of Malaysia attended the two-hour long function.
Speaking in front of nearly 170 guests, Consul General Mr. Mohamad Nasri Abdul Rahman pledged to renew his commitment and working closely with the relevant parties to further enhance the cooperation between Malaysia and China.
Vice Governor, His Excellency Mr. Gao Feng attended the reception representing the Yunnan Government. Consul General and Vice Governor raised a toast and wishing each other the prosperity of the government and the people of Malaysia and China.
Guests were served the authentic Malaysian dishes specially prepared by the Malaysian chefs.
