On 26 April 2026, Malaysian Association in Sichuan, in cooperation with Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chengdu and Grand Parcvue Hotel Chengdu organized the ASEAN Pickleball Festival and Family Day at Grand Parcvue Hotel Chengdu. The event was supported by Malawakil Kunming, and other ASEAN Consulate that covers Sichuan, namely the Consulate General of Thailand in Chengdu, the Consulate General of Singapore in Chengdu and the Consulate General of Vietnam in Chongqing.
The event started with pickleball games between representatives from each participating ASEAN countries namely Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The overall champion of the pickleball games was team the Philippines, followed by Malaysia and Thailand.
