“During the 101st Session of Guangzhou International Import and Export Commodity Trade Fair (GIIECTF), Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce will lead a large visiting group to participate, and the main-stream media, Spring City Evening will make a track report”, Mr. Li Jiming, Deputy Director-General of Department of Commerce told the reporter on Jan. 19th.
When talking about Kunming International Import and Export Commodity Trade Fair (KIIECTF) in this year, Li revealed his idea with “one strategy, two orientations, three platforms, and four changes”.
The “one strategy” is the promotion of brands; “two orientations” refer to KIIECTF, which is oriented to south Asian market as well as oriented to ASEAN countries; “three platforms” are one platform for gathering name brand products, one platform for electronic business, and one platform for displaying investment environment; the “four changes” is indicating specialization, internationalization, commercialization and informationization,
Li further elaborated on his idea. He said that for realizing the specialization, the Comprehensive Hall on KIIECTF has been canceled and added Specialized Hall and halls with different themes; in future, Yunnan will invite more sellers from overseas and let the sellers to play the main role, which will reflect internationalization and commercialization; the KIIECTF this year will improve informationization level, and Department of Commerce is considering to interact with news media.
