Courtesy Call by the Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Yunnan) on the Consul General, 12 March 2021
Mr. Liu Qilin, the newly appointed Chairman of the CCPIT Yunnan paid a visit to the Consulate not only to update of CCPIT activities but also to know personally the Consul General.
It was noted that the CCPIT is keen to cooperate with the Consulate towards the agenda to promote close-interaction while developing new partnerships as well information sharing in bilateral trade, investment including tourism and education.
The CCPIT also shared the information of the South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF) and Kunming Import and Export Fair (Kunming Expo) that scheduled to take place in July/August 2021. Malaysian companies/SMEs/traders have been participating in the previous SSACEIF. In this connection, the CCPIT is looking forward to receiving Malaysian companies/SMEs/traders with support from the Consulate including MATRADE.
CCPIT was also briefed on the idea to hold the Malaysia-Yunnan Business Investment Dialogue with a focus to promote information sharing by creating a platform for companies/SMEs/entrepreneurs to interact while finding new synergy for partnership.
