On 21 January 2026, Malawakil had a discussion with the officials from the Foreign Affairs Office of Lincang Prefecture (FAO Lincang).
The main focus of discussion was to update about Lincang Prefecture and explore possible cooperation relevant stakeholders in Malaysia as well as the possibility for Lincang to form sister-city cooperation with relevant cities in Malaysia.
