On 16 March 2025, Malawakil Kunming had discussion with Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism (YCT) at the latter’s office. Malawakil Kunming officials were led by CG Kunming while YCT was led by Mdm. Liu Lina, Deputy Director-General of YCT.
DDG Lina welcomed Malawakil Kunming’s delegation to visit their office and briefed on the overview of Yunnan in terms of culture and tourism. According to Mdm. Liu Lina, Deputy Director-General of YCT, in 2025, Yunnan's tourism sector launched its brand identity of A Life in Yunnan which focused on deep integration of culture and tourism.
