The Fourth Malaysia Food and Cultural Festival 2023 was held on Friday, 7 July 2023 at the Hotel Crowne Plaza, Kunming. Nearly 260 people attended the event which focus not only to introduce as well as promoting Malaysia as one of the most favorite tourist destinations. More than that, is to bring closer the taste of Malaysian cuisine including the uniqueness of Malaysian arts and culture to local people of Kunming, Yunnan.
The fourth festival was designed to be the most memorable and informative as compared to the previous edition since it was first initiated in the year 2020. The Crowne Plaza Hotel Kunming and Tourism Malaysia Guangzhou remained as the main partner. As this year's edition saw the combination of various elements including food, cultural and festival, Malaysia Truly Asia, we are able to bring the Cultural Dance Troupe of the National Department for Culture and Arts of Malaysia for the performances.
Eight (8) Directors of the Foreign Affairs Office from various Cities in Yunnan including the Provincial level and Kunming Municipality including the Vice Mayor of Kunming Government attended the said Opening Ceremony.
