On 17 May 2022, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming organised Hari Raya Celebration. The Director General (DG) of the Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) of Yunnan and Kunming participated in the event.
The said reception also received the attendance from the Consul General of Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar including selected partners from Kunming. In total, about 40 invitees had attended the said luncheon reception that took place at the Office of the Consul General.
Apart from serving various Malay-delicacies or the Hari Raya special 'juadah' such as rendang daging, ayam masak merah, nasi tomato, kuah dalca, sayur campur, udang goreng berempah and etc., all invitees to be entertained with a performance by a local Chinese violinist, Mr. Danny, who performed three (3) Malay-musical namely song; Malam Bulan Dipagar Bintang, Pelangi Petang dan Bahtera Merdeka.
