Welcome to Kunming Mr. Faizal Shani, Consul General of Malaysia in Kunming.
Mr. Faizal Shani and family arrived in Kunming and assume his duty as the new Consul General of Malaysia in Kunming on March 5,2019.
He was received by Madam Yang Zejuan, the director of Consular Division, Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office and officials from the Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming.
Mr. Faizal Shani, who joined the Administrative and Diplomatic Service in 2005, completed his Master Degree in East Asian studies at the National University Malaysia(UKM) in 2017.
Prior to his new assignment in Kunming, he had served in various departments within the Ministry, including ASEAN, East Asia Department and Human Resources Department.
His first oversea duty was the Second Secretary at the High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi, India from 2009 until 2012.
