INTERNATIONAL FAIR AT KIA

On 25 April 2009, Kunming International Academy (KIA), the only international school in Kunming organized an International Fair, an annual event that aimed to bring closer foreigners who have their children studying at KIA.  It was also a cultural event where countries such as Malaysia, USA, U.K, Korea, Japan, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, Taiwan and others took the opportunity to introduce their culinary delights, traditional dances and games. There are currently 10 Malaysian children studying at KIA.  

Founded in 1994, KIA has over 250 students from more than 22 nations. KIA provides instruction for students from junior kindergarten through the twelfth grade. Its American style curriculum is designed to serve English speaking expatriate students. The Academy strives to maintain the best education environment possible with the resources at our disposal. KIA is a part of the OASIS International Schools, the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS) and the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS).
