On 24 July 2017, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming received a visit by seven 'Kembara Inspirasi Haji (KIH)' participants who were on their way from Malaysia to Saudi Arabia by two units of 4WDs. These Malaysians passed through 3 countries, starting from Malaysia and then Thailand, Lao PDR, and China. They had faced various kinds of challenges along theis way before arriving in Mecca to perform their Hajj.
During their stop-by at Consulate, they were welcome by Home-Based Staff in Consulate General Malaysia in Kunming and flag off by Consul General Malaysia before proceeding to next country.
