The Consul General, Mr Muhamad Akmal Abdul Wahab attended a mid-autumn festival gathering organised by the Kunming-ASEAN Association on 23 September 2023. The gathering commenced with opening remarks by the Secretary-General of the Association, Mr. Yang Hengliang. There were also remarks by the President of the Kunming-ASEAN Association, Mr. He Ming.
During the engagement with the President and the Secretary-General, both had expressed hope for more interaction and cooperation between the Association with the ASEAN Consulates (Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam). The Association also looks forward to more activities and programmes with the ASEAN Consulates and stands ready to facilitate businesses as well as future ASEAN-related programmes and activities.
