LATEST: NEW SYSTEM TO EASE THE EXIT AND ENTRY APPLICATION FOR MALAYSIAN AND FOREIGNERS STARTING 8 OCTOBER 2020
1. Effective 8 October 2020, the Malaysian Immigration Department has announced that entry and exit permits applications for Malaysians and foreigners can be submitted online through the MyTravelPass (MTP) system, instead of applying via email.
2. MTP system can be accessed through the link https://mtp.imi.gov.my/myTravelPass/main . Completed applications with supporting documents will be processed within five (5) working days, where the result of the application will be notified via email. Any enquiries regarding the application through MTP system can be made via the link http://eapp.imi.gov.my/tanya/create .
3. The previous requirement of obtaining the complete Letter of Undertaking and Indemnity (LoU) for applicant wishes to enter Malaysia is still applicable. Therefore, applicants are required to obtain the Travel Notices from the Malaysian Missions Offices abroad prior to entering Malaysia.
