Luncheon hosted by the Director-General of the FAO Chongqing, 22 October 2020
At the Luncheon hosted by Director-General, Mr. Zhang of the FAO, the intention of the Malaysian community in Chongqing to establish the Malaysian-Chongqing Society or Association has been conveyed for further information.
The DG also expressed his support on the idea to establish the said delegation meeting as an annual program and regular participation by the Consul General to the various events and activities organized by the FAO of Chongqing would be welcomed.
CG Faizal informed DG Zhang that the Consulate including the Malaysian representatives' office abroad such as Education Malaysia (Beijing), MIDA (Guangzhou), MATRADE (Chengdu), Tourism Malaysia (Guangzhou) and Immigration Attaché (Kunming) is more than ready to promote such cooperation and embarking with new initiatives including in sharing such information wherever that necessary to the Chongqing side.
