On 6 April 2024, Malawakil Kunming in cooperation with Crowne Plaza Kunming City Centre Hotel organized Malaysia Food Festival at Atrium Café. The theme for the Malaysia Food Festival was based on the Ramadan buffet concept in Malaysia in which the dishes prepared were Malaysian cuisines including those that are Ramadan-associated dishes such as Bubur Lambuk and lemang.
