Meeting with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Yunnan), Thursday 25 February 2021
On 25th February 2021, the Consul General of Malaysia in Kunming had a meeting with the Secretary-General of CCPIT, Mr. Mu Jiansheng. Mr. Mu informed that CCPIT stands as a national foreign trade and investment promotion agency. To this date, CCPIT Yunnan has established such connection with relevant international organizations, trade & investment promotion agencies, commercial associations, and business circles in-side as well as outside of Yunnan to further promote partnership including information sharing.
In a nutshell, they are keen and committed to enhancing services by making positive contributions toward the advancement of bilateral and multilateral trade relationships with various parties including Kuala Lumpur.
According to Mr. Mu, while Malaysian companies/SMEs have been participating in the South East and South East Asia Expo with trade delegation visits have been organized between Malaysia-Yunnan and verse-versa, nevertheless, more efforts are needed in order to expand the scope of cooperation.
