At the request from the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of Kunming Municipal Public Security Bureau the meeting between the two sides took place on Tuesday, 10.00 am at the office of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming.
The meeting that lasted for nearly 2 hours served as a meaningful platform for both sides to exchange views, including on the latest development concerning immigration matters relating to visa and passport renewal as well as issues concerning consular as well as security issues.
The Consul General commented that the said meeting/discussion should be established regularly with the working officials of both sides are expected to have more regular interaction in order to promote good cooperation and understanding.
