Consul General Mr Muhamad Akmal Abdul Wahab attended the official opening ceremony of Seon Hei Nanyang restaurant in Kunming on 9 September 2023. The theme of the restaurant is southeast asian cuisine with special focus on Malaysian-inspired food (baba nyonya). Among the cuisine offered includes nasi lemak, char kuetiaw and several baba-nyonya kuih such as pulut kaya.The opening ceremony was attended by the Consulate officials as well as friends to the owner, Ms Nicole Shen Gongru, a local Kunmingites and the CEO of Yunnan NanSu Catering Management Co. Ltd.
