Mr. Faizal Shani, the Consul General of Malaysia attended the opening ceremony of the 2019 China (Fumin) Farmers' Harvest Festival and First Summit Forum on Industrial Development of Yunnan Fruits on 23 September 2019 at the National Industrial Zone for Yunnan Plateau Fruits located in the Fumin County, Kunming.
The said event is a national festival that authorized by the CPC Central Committee in 2018. This year, 2019 marks as the maiden event in Yunnan, particularly with Kunming (Fumin County) being the host. The aims are to enhance the agricultural cooperation between Yunnan and its South and Southeast Asian neighbours including to promote interaction and integration between scientific research institutes and enterprises toward the development of fruit and flower industry.
