Malawakil Kunming, in cooperation with Tourism Malaysia and in collaboration with the Malaysia Inbound Chinese Association (MICA), had successfully held the Tourism Malaysia Sales Mission to China at Shangri-La Hotel Chengdu.
The event has brought together key players from the tourism industry to strengthen ties and explore new opportunities between Malaysia and China, in particular with Sichuan Province.
The delegation from Malaysia consisted of 87 representatives from 45 travel agencies, 29 representatives from the hotel industry, 9 attraction operators and representatives from Perak Tourism, Sarawak Tourism Board, Tourism Selangor and Tourism Negeri Sembilan. The Malaysian delegation was led by Dato’ Yeoh Soon Hin, Deputy Chairman of Tourism Malaysia.
