On Tuesday, 25 August 2020, the Chairman of Taitong International paid a visit to the Consul General Faizal Shani at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming.
At the meeting lasted for nearly 30 minutes, the Chairman informed that the main intention is to touch-base with the Consulate and to explore such cooperation in the areas of trading as well as investment.
He mentioned that Taitong International has the capability to help in promotion as well as warehousing including matchmaking between the enterprises or investors from both sides. The said entity also has the online platform for enterprises/businesses to do promotion or marketing, including performing online trading as well as data searching as the said platform has already been supported with the big data system to further fostered the business/trading environment.
CG Faizal responded by stating that such opportunities were meant to be explored by having the correct procedures while riding together on the agenda of a win-win situation.
Hence, the way forward is by channeling the Taitong International interest and planning to MATRADE and MIDA for further consolidation. Moreover, the possibility of introducing Malaysia’s Halal programme should also be explored. This is because currently, the Taitong International has more than 1000 companies/enterprises cooperating or being the partners or customers with them. According to the Chairman, they are keen as well as interested to explore new markets including new areas of expansion with Malaysia stands as one of the focus.
