On 10 March 2026, Malawakil Kunming, led by the Consul General of Malaysia in Kunming, accompanied by officials from Malawakil Kunming, visited Maybank Kunming at its office in Kunming city.
The main focus of the visit was to engage with Maybank Kunming and exchange views on the economic situation in Yunnan, Sichuan and Chongqing (Maybank Kunming also covers these areas) from the financial institutions perspective.
