Y.B. Dato’ Seri Azalina Dato’ Othman Said, Minister of Youth and Sports led a 12 member delegation on a working visit to Kunming, Yunnan, PRC from 25th to 27th June 2007.
The delegates include Y.Bhg. Dato’ Mohd. Yasin Mohd Salleh, Secretary General, Ministry of Youth and Sports and Y.Bhg. Dato’ Zolkples Embong. Director General, National Sports Council of Malaysia and 10 other officials.
The visit was to focus on high altitude training and also to explore bilateral cooperation with Yunnan Province Sports Committee. YB Minister also witnessed the signing of The Memorandum of Understanding between the National Sports Council of Malaysia and Yunnan Province Sports Committee.
Besides that YB Minister was also visited several high altitude training centres and Malaysian athletics that were currently undergoing their training session in Kunming.
