From 26-28 March 2009, YB Datuk Wee Ka Siong, Deputy Minister of Education Malaysia led a six-member delegation on a study tour in Kunming. The study tour aimed at learning about sport education programme and facilities available in Kunming. The Deputy Minister visited 3 sport training facilites namely Haigeng Training Centre, Yunnan Athletic Sport Collage and Kinder Gymnastics School. Fruitful discussions were held between both sides in which the Malaysian delegation acquired useful knowledge to further improve Sport Schools in Malaysia.
