Y.B. Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industries, Malaysia working visits to Kunming, Yunnan (9-11 September 2006)

Kunming, Sept 13 - Y.B. Tan Sri Muhyiddin b. Hj. Muhd. Yasin, Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industries, Malaysia and his entourage left Kunming for Hong Kong via flight CZ341 yesterday morning to conclude their working visit to Kunming, Yunnan. Exco members from Perak and Selangor State, Y.B. Dato' Mohd. Radzi Manan and Y.B. Dato' Raja Ideris b. Raja Ahmad were among its VIP member delegates.

Y.B. Minister visited Yunnan Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences and had made general discussions with some business entities here. Among the issues that were discussed including technical cooperation in grains, vegetable and flowers research.

Besides that Y.B. Minister had also witnessed the MOU signing ceremony between a Malaysian and Yunnan companies, Pitaberry Sdn. Bhd. and Shenteng Trade Co. Ltd. for a contract value of USD330,000.00 during one of dinners hosted by Y.B. Minister.
